Majors/Canadians Tournament Information
Mill Woods Little League represents more than 250 children, their parents, and a host of volunteer coaches, umpires, and Board members. We host a Majors tournament each year and this year it is on June 4th, 5th and 6th. We are still short on volunteers for the concession (including BBQers) and for the 50/50 draws. If you have any available time to help support this great weekend please contact Lana Chivers.
We rely on our volunteers to help us make this tournament a fantastic event for our kids.....remember - volunteers don't have more time.....they have MORE heart.
For your time given, MWLL will send you a $25.00 voucher towards your child's next years registration fees.

As part of our efforts, we are seeking support from the community for prizes to be included in a raffle we will be conducting at that time. We already have some in place, but we thought if we allowed you an opportunity to take part, the additional items would be so much appreciated by our ball players and our organization and help make our fundraising a huge success. It has been years since our league has attempted such a fund raiser, but thought it an excellent way to reintroduce ourselves as we assist in the preparation of the 2012 Canadian Little League Championships here in Edmonton.

We thank you for your consideration of our request, and welcome you to join us in taking in some old fashioned baseball action.
Contact Lana Chivers for more information.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Sunday, 7pm, June 20, 2010 at the Sawridge Inn at 4235 Gateway Boulevard. We all know there are so many who know more about running a league than those currently doing so, and this is their opportunity to step up and demonstrate how it is done. With a number Board members stepping down, there are vacancies to be filled. Any parent of a player participating in the 2010 Mill Woods Little League season or participating volunteer is welcome to attend, to be involved, and to serve. Here is a quick description of the 25 positions that make up our Board of Directors.
